Biotechnology is the future
„I would like to see biotechnology leading us to economic success in the future. I would like it to be the driving force of our development. I know biotechnology (nanomedicine) will change the world and I would like us to be the best in it.“ says Prime minister of Malaysia.
At a conference, held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, Mr. Badawi said that he believes in biotechnology and that he thinks that Malaysian scientists should work hard and be the leaders in this science segment. Malaysian government is investing significant amounts of money into research and they’re expecting results.
Malaysia has an economic growth of five percent per year, which is amazing. They think that by exploring the biotechnology field, they can do even better.
