Iran topping the bionanotechnology charts

Iran is about to become one of the few countries that are leading in bionanotechnology and biotechnology research in the world. The head of Health Commision at Iran’s parliament made the remarks while doing an interview for a Alalam satellite TV network.

„Fortunately Iran is among the forerunners in the world as far as modern technologies are concerned, he said adding that presumably there are less than ten countries in the world including Iran which enjoy biotechnology and nanotechnology.”

Iran made a “Five-year development plan” in 2005. and one of the goals is achieving developments in science – nanobiotechnology and biotechnology.
