Surgery and nanomedicine

A flesh welder can be used to fuse two separate pieces of chicken meat into a single one. Two pieces of meat are placed touching. A liquid full of gold-coated nanoshells is dribbled and an infrared laser is traced along the seam causing the two sides to weld together (experiment done at Rise University). Blood leaks would be history – the flesh welder would meld a damaged artery into a perfect seal.

CELL REPAIR

Nowdays, doctors can only encourage tissues to cure themselves. Using molecular machines, direct repairs will be possible. Access inside the cell is possible because molecular machines are able to enter through the cell membrane. Biochemical interactions show that molecular machines can build a molecule inside. In the future, nanomachine-based systems will be able to sense the healthy from the damaged cells and make various modifications to their structure.

These machines are impressive. Since their size is very small, this will allow them to be more complex. They will be able to correct any molecular disorder like DNA damage! Working cell by cell, whole organs can be repaired. Organ by organ, all the body is healthy again!

10 billion dollar industry will not take long to grow into a 1 trillion industry.
