A highly attractive area of nanomedicine is diagnostics at nanoscale. The main aim is to identify a disease in the earliest stage possible. A single ill cell would be detected and cured or eliminated. In vivo imaging devices and tools are constantly being developed. Using nanoparticles „contrast agents“, images recorded by MRI or ultrasound will have an improved contrast and favorable distribution.

Of course, what nanoscientists will be able to achieve in the future is beyond our imagination. Everything is going towards building nano devices that will detect, treat and report to the medical doctor automatically which is terrific.
